Today I will talk about the life of Kurt Cobain, the fame singer of the band Nirvana.

Kurt Cobain was born at the 20th of February 1967. He was the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist of a Seattle rock band called Nirvana. Also he was the leader and spiritual centre of the band.
The most known song of Kurt Cobain and his band was “Smells Like Teen Spirit”.
In 1991, when “Smells Like Teen Spirit” was released, most of the teenagers in the whole world listened to this song. With the band’s success Kurt Cobain became a major national and international celebrity. But Kurt Cobain often said: “Famous is the last thing I want to be”. No one really knows why, but in this time as famous celebrity, Kurt began to take heroin. At the beginning he took this hard drug only a few times. But with Nirvana and their bigger success in the music business, heroin was like a normal thing for him and he took it very often.
Kurt Cobain often tried to kill himself with taking too much drugs or drinking too much alcohol. But he always survived these trials. He was found every time. Mostly his wife found him and called a doctor.
At the 5th of April 1994 Kurt Cobain took his own life. He shot himself and nobody noticed it. After his mother and the police were searching for him, Kurt Cobain was found 3 days later at the 8th of April 1994 in his garage.
Until today, nobody knows why Kurt Cobain took his own life.
Also nobody knows if Kurt Cobain really took his own life or someone else killed him…
